Lake Trust Credit Union was recently awarded Cintas Document Management Company’s annual Environmental Award for its document recycling efforts. The Award is presented to the company’s top 30 customers from its pool of 4,000.
“Over the past 12 months, Lake Trust has saved 425 trees, nearly 75 cubic yards of landfill space, and 175,000 gallons of water through recycling,” said Cintas General Manager, David Chase. “Responsible disposal of waste paper takes extra time and effort. We’re proud to recognize Lake Trust’s commitment to careful consumption with this award for the second consecutive year.”
Lake Trust’s Robert Greer, Purchasing Supervisor, and Denise Gately, Vice President of Corporate Assets, receive the Cintas Environmental Award from General Manager David Chase and Catherine Morrison, Cintas Sales Manager, for the credit union’s conscientious recycling efforts.
Lake Trust Credit Union sponsored the Zipper Open, a charity golf outing benefiting cardiac services at Central Michigan Community Hospital. While we were too chicken to dust off our own clubs, we were on the course cheering on the players. We handed out snacks, water, and even some of our fancy Lake Trust golf tees. You’ll have to come see us this summer if you want a few. Anyways, we had a great day and might even step onto the driving range next time around….maybe.
